Overview: What is "Sudoku Publisher"?

Sudoku Publisher (BETA, not available yet) lets you quickly design, build, and export/print a wide variety of Sudoku puzzles and their solutions. Many different puzzle types, sizes, and difficulty levels are supported. All the puzzles created by Sudoku Publisher are "proper" or "well-formed" puzzles, that is, they are guaranteed to have only one correct solution. Instantly create beautiful, completely uniquely different puzzles every time.

Add puzzles to your newsletter or social media or web site, distribute in your classroom, even publish and sell your own books... royalty-free, no commercial license needed. Sudoku Publisher runs privately with no internet needed, and no web-based accounts or subscriptions are ever required.

Features

Sudoku Publisher is a rather impressive puzzle-generator. Compare these features against any sudoku building software you are using now...

Easily create one, or dozens, or hundreds of wildly unique sudoku puzzles.

Each puzzle is randomly generated for you so every one will be unique. The puzzles are not re-copied from some other source.

Puzzles can range from 3x3 up to 15x15 cells.

You can choose different symbols for the cell digits: 1-9 (Arabic), Kanji, Elder Futhark, Greek.

All created puzzles are completely yours to use and publish and make money with, no copyright restrictions or restrictive "commercial use" clauses here!

Work without a net... you never need an internet connection to create, save, and print your puzzles.

Your work is safely yours. Your puzzles stay on your computer. Sudoku Publisher never requires you to create an account, and never stores any of your information in the cloud.

Choose different cell shading options and different line widths and colors for cells and boxes.

"Daily Puzzle" feature lets you create a random-synchronized puzzle. It will be the same as everyone else's Sudoku Publisher "Daily Puzzle" around the world on that day.

Add puzzle labels for rows and columns, or a legend under the puzzle to list the available symbols (digits) used.

Easily change the puzzle difficulty. Simply move a slider from "very easy" to "very hard", without worrying about all the details of how it works.

Turn on "Advanced" mode to gain extra features, like choosing how many givens to use, and whether to make beautifully mirrored patterns with the givens.

Turn on "Progress Animation" to watch the puzzle get built, step by step.

Easy printing of the puzzle and/or solution right to your printer.

Export high-quality images of your puzzles and solutions for layout/publishing in your own books, newsletters, social media/web/blog, games, classroom handouts, etc. Supports PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVG file formats.

Export an "ESP File" (JSON) that captures the puzzle/solution in a computer-readable way, so you can create book-publishing workflows, or to pour puzzles into your own interactive web or native computer games
